gmonroe10 (112), Netherlands Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden, small head. Nose is grassy hops. Flavor is pretty malty, ok bitter finish. Drinkable, but other czechs are better heavy (471), Split, Croatia Aug 9, 2008 07/08 Had it on a gas station somewhere around Ostrava directly from a 0,5 l can. Nice pale malty and grass hop aroma, some cinnamon as well. Great flavor, too, slightly bitterish with hoppy notes again. Notes of wood, which is strange for this type of beer. Quite light body, but it feels good anyway. Very nice, long bittersweet finish. Was so refreshing and pleasant so I came here quite surprised with such low ratings. Golden color, good white head. Papery, woody hoppy aroma. Cardboardish flavor. Thin malt profile. Sharp and unbalanced hops. Supermarket lager. sir_Pino (546), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Jul 20, 2008 No 323

Bottle brown, 500 ml, 10P
Appearance: Pours bright golden, perfectly clear and filtered body, carbonation of body is visually soft. Head is initially medium, slowly decreasing to small, carbonation is mild, soft and gentle, there is rather small lacing, head is initially medium, white and quite quickly decreasing to a minimal froth.
Aroma: Sweety, malty, chalky, grainy, a bit citrusy, juicy, fresh, nice and standard of a Bohemian Pilsener type, some hint of grassy nose. Graphite like and refreshing.
Flavour: Flavour is of a standard 10P Bohemian Pilsener, there is a sweety grainy taste, spiced - grassy nose of Saaz or Zatec hops, not that strong as in 12P.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is slightly accidic, mineral.
coldbrewky (492), Saugerties, New York, USA Jun 1, 2008 This was a bus beer from Karlovy Vary to Plzen. I know that I once truly enjoyed Radegast but this one fell a bit short. I wish there was a bottle of the 12 that day. Thats always a safe bet. well I digress. This was a bit on the straw hop side but the body was light + and nearly to medium. This would be a fine sitting in the sun brew, but to me it was a fleeting lager that helped the bus ride go smoothly.
