Commercial Description:
Rader Ambrée is the subtle aromatization of a beer brewed in the ancient-way, re-fermented in its bottle, with a distillate of grain which has undergone a prolonged ageing process in oak casks. The primary fermentation is made with the same selected grains for the mash tubbing and the distillate. The distillate, aged in oak casks, is then added to the mash tub just before the re-fermentation in the bottle.

The aroma is yeasty, fruity, and spicy. The appearance is golden amber with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is typical for the style. This is OK but nothing special.

Its got the need malts and the modest hop content, the spices are there but the rest of the flavor falls flat . its a tad thin. Alcohol is hidden semi-well

Bottle. This was an ok beer. Nothing bad just nothing special. Pours a dark amber color. Has the aroma of a chardonnay (oak undertones). Tastes of wood with perhaps a bit of honey. Considering the high alcohol content the taste was not too overwhelming.

Pours a dark orange with a thin off white head with good lacing. Aroma was weak. Taste was very strong. Alcohol was the predominant taste here...much else came through. There was some malt and yeast floating around in the taste but for the most part the burn drowned everything out.

Uklar orange brun øl. Duft af af alcohol, sød frugt, viniøs. Smag: sød alcoholiseret classic. Meget syrlig - som hvidvin.. Eftersmag: garvesyre !!

Poured a mostly clear amber color with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma islightly malty with some yeasty fruity notes. Has some notes of a white wine. The falvor is malty, yeasty, sweet and has some woody notes. Moderate carbonation. Medium bodied and a decent warming sensation.
