Taste was very strong. Alcohol was the predominant taste here...much else came through. There was some malt and yeast floating around in the taste but for the most part the burn drowned everything out. thegreenrooster (1852), St.louis, Missouri, USA

Aroma is yeasty and citrus with some corriander. Flavor is dark fruit with a lot of dark candi sugar. I also detect some allspice and orange peel. The only bad thing about the beer is that it says its oak aged but i get none of that. That minor flaw out of the way this is a jim dandy. rederic (1816), montréal, Quebec, Canada
