Dense and abounded head, medium resistance. Light torbid dark orange color. Sweet and alcoholic aromas with notes of macerated grape and red yields. Alcoholic, round, warm and homogenous taste. Modest bitter and decided yeast notes on the end. boto (1337), Granby, Connecticut, USA

This one poured a hazy amber color with a small off white head. It left some lacing. There is some alcohol to the nose, as well as some spiciness, apples and a bit of the caramel malt. There was some effervescence on the tongue. The taste is somewhat spicy, with the alcohol mostly hidden. Medium maltiness with some residual sweetness. Decent. Wim (1321), Turnhout, Belgium

It seems like a blend between a tripel and dubbel. The deep amber color reminds me of a dubbel but the nice, slightly sweet flavor trends towards a dubbel. The slight alcohol flavor is warming like a tripel though. Good carbonation and a slowly settling head make this a good bier. GRM (1273), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

Pours a full yellow amber with a medium-sized white head and plenty of small floating material. The aroma is heavily fruity, pears and a hint of citrus, lots of alcohol. The flavor is moderately sweet (in a rather uninteresting way) without much of a hop finish; in there I get a lot of sweet light malt, some gin/junipier, decided alcohol flavors, and a bit of cask. Mouthfeel is heavily carbonated and quite warm.
It’s not bad, but I’m not particularly impressed here either. Kåstå (1149), Mol, Belgium

Slightly sweet and a tiny bit sour aroma. A friend of mine said she could smell the 'jenever' which destillate is supposed to be added to the beer. I could not really say I did but it had an interesting aroma. The taste was refreshing, a bit sweet, slightly sour and a bit thick. The alcohol is obvious but not disturbing. It is a good beer.
