Nov 30, 2005 Hazy golden colour with big white head. Sweet, light spicy aroma with a very evident alcohol note. Sweet fruity flavor with a light woddy note, spicy and alcohol warming finish.

Feb 22, 2008 Light amber and hazy in colour with spritzy carbonation. Aromas of sweet malts, caramel, yeast, dried apricots, and booze. Full bodied, with more dried fruit, and peppery alcohol notes in the mouth. Moderately spice notes develop later, along with a hint of wood. Kind of run-of-the-mill for the style.

May 20, 2004 Amber color with some golden hues. Aroma of sitrus and spices. Nice alcohol and citrus flavors, the alcohol isn’t too dominating even if its 10.5%. Bitter finish. Interesting but not very good.

Jan 4, 2008 This corked and caged bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy strongly carbonated dark orange colored body. The mild aroma was malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish mild vinous hop aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops brown malt and orange peel. A decent one that I would consider buying again yet unidimensional.

May 10, 2009 (750ml bottle, BB 06/06/09) Pours a pale yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, pepper, and other herbs. Flavor of yeast, hops (herbal, grass, earthy), candi sugar, and some noticeable oxidation.

May 29, 2003 Had this at Le Bier Circus on 5-13-03. Nice golden blonde. Strong alcohol aroma along with malt. Taste expands on that with a stronger malt, alcohol, and slightly whisky-ish presence. Maybe peach as well. Supposedly this has gin added to it at some point and there is that dryness from gin in this beer, especially during the finish. Has a nice whitish head and decent carbonation.
