Cloudy golden, blond colour, white head. Aroma is to strong, some jenever touch too. Full body, bitter dry-alcoholic finish. The taste is to jenever. Not a good combination.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with small floaties, creamy/bubbly white head that left some lacing. Aroma of ben-gay, medicinal, herbal, grassy, Flavor of juniper berries, gin, ginger and picking up some 7-Up too. Very interesting beer and worth trying, for the sake of having something interesting. beastiefan2k (1605), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Nov 28, 2006 Oh man WORST BEER EVER. Somebody replaced my beer with some gin and tonic. This is almost as bad as drinking water instead of Old Foghorn. I have taken maybe 5 sips from this 11.2 oz bottle and I cant stand it anymore. The aroma is the worst part - all gin and strong. .Cheap gin in fact, plastic bottle gin. Looking at it you wouldnt think it this bad. Has a light golden color with a nice frothy head in my tulip glass. But as soon as your nose goes anywhere near it, your nose hairs run away. So i try to fight threw it, like I used to with Gordon’s gin and tonic back in the day. The taste isnt as strong but still all gin. I am actually tasting this and trying not to breath. I cant, this is going down the toilet where it belongs. Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark

Better than I remembered, I gave it about the same tasting notes, but rated slightly higher in teh numbers. From a 750 ml bottle. The body i sa slightly hazy light yellow with a small white head on top. The aroma is definitely juniper berries with some blueberries and dry hay. The taste has some light tastes of juniper berries and some ginger. There is also a hint of dry pears with some cinnamon. The body is highly carbonated with a clean juniper finish. Interesting. The juniper gives this beer a very gin like quality, and the additive is very apparant in the flavor and aroma. A 750 is a bit much, but in a small amount it is enjoyable enough and a good change. Light gold and heavily carbonated, it looks like champagne.
