I also got a distinct lemon & spice flavor from it. This isn’t very good, is it?.... Bottle. Ughsmash (4076), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA

The aroma picked up juniper first and foremost, and it was far from subtle.. that and fresh mint settled over.. well.. I’m not really sure what malts were there because it was so juniper-ry. The flavor was also heavily characterized by the bright juniper with a Belgian-inspired pale malt and cereal-ly base and lots of dusty yeasty notes.. finished with even more juniper and peppery yeast over unmistakable cereal grains. Medium-bodied with adequate carbonation on the palate, but again too much of the juniper. nearbeer (1868), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Hazy orange-gold with a creamy, lasting inch of creamy foam. Aroma is pepper, galangal, evergreen resin and bandaid. Flavor is exactly the same, with a slightly sweeter lemon-resin taste on the finish. Light-medium body is creamy smooth and refreshing. Wow, the dose of juniper is far from subtle to me. I wanted to like this unique brew, but its just too medicinal-tonic tasting to finish.
