Bit of a strange one this, the bar maid at the Marble in Manchester told me it had gin in it. Who dares gin’s they say so I thought I’d have a go. Odd, but pleasant enough. Loads of floaty bits, some citrus in there, lime for sure. Strange but certainly not that bad. Or that great.

Pour is a blond with a large white head. Aroma is juniper to the extreme. Almost smells more like a G&T than a beer but i still give it good points. Flavor is wierd. Some citrus and some hops and very herbal, I mean Very! I guess that the juniper berries. A very strange beer and ok for a rating i guess.

Bottle 33 ccing. Large frothy white lasting head with good lacing. Golden/yellow body, cloudy with some particles. Heavy aroma of uniper and malt (hay, straw). Medium body, sticky texture and soft carbonation. Heavy sweet flacvor and lightly hoppy.

Bottled courtesy of DenverLogan sharing this one at PP Bottle Shop. Pours a clean hazy golden color with white bubbly head. Immediate aroma of flowery juniper / gin is detected off the glass. Spicy herbs are all over the flavor, with thyme, gin and lemongrass. Almost a cleaning-fluid nose if you’re not a gin-drinker...fortunately for my case gin & tonics are a favorite party beverage. Carbonated mouthfeel with a mildly bitter and dry finish. Interesting.

I liked this. It was totally something different. The juniper aroma is intense as is the flavour. It is light and refrehsing and works well. It also has a bit of citrus in the flavour. I do like gin, so I am sure that it helps the way I taste this beer.

11.2 oz bottle-A hazy golden body with a nice full white head. An aroma of yeast, berries, citrus, and slight malt. Taste of the same with a weird taste. If that is the juniper berries then I will be staying away. Has a floor cleaner like taste or one you might think would taste like. A decent try but I didn’t care for it.

(on bottle)Very nice Genever-shot ; both barley-sweet and herbish harsh.(hey that sounds good; "herbish harsh"). Foamy and fresh mouthfeel. the herbs gets really dominating in the finish and this beer might end up labeld as toothpaste.
