Had at Logan’s Oceanside beer tasting with AlohaC, and Hair, and Matt, and Ken, Jeff, Colleen, Bill, and others. What a great juniper aroma. Very nice. Cloudy yellow color. Light and a little sweet flavor. Cool. I brought my rating down a little to be closer to the average rating, because maybe the environment influenced my rating.

Cafe Bruxelles, Leicscum. Lemon jelly, marmalade and juniper aroma. Impressively rocky and pillowed with froth. Witbier haze swimming with effervescent chunks. Crisp, citrussy quencher with an earthy, planty background and twist of herbal strangeness. G&t fresh and unusual. More than stood up to the sweet chilli chicken noodles.

Corked bomber from Capone’s. Hazy golden orangy pour with 1-finger fizzy white head. Aroma is heavy citrus, dry florals, hops, tangerine. Tastes citric, with some dry floral spicy flavor hints, and finsihing hops. Starts a bit sweet, then turns to a more dry, spicy, floral profile as it warms.

Draught at "Italia Beer Festival 2007" - Brescia.
Fraught yellow/orange color; beautiful aspect. Compact and resistant head. Spiced and fresh aroma with notes of lemon and clear berries. Light acidulous taste with modest but pleasant body. Balanced bitter with medium duration final.

Pretty average for Belgian White with some different features. Can taste the juniper berries - hint of gin and is a bit off.

On tap at Map Room- Chicago. Definitely can taste the junipers. Other than that-- not too mnay other flavors that I picked out. I think I’d rather just have a good tripel with a gin and tonic chaser. But I give them credit for trying something different.

Picked up a 750ml bottle from Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. (Blue Label) Pours a semi-hazy golden blonde brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves to a film and ring. Aroma of piney juniper berries, light bready malt and some sour berries. Taste is light to medium bodied, well carbonated with falvors of dry gin, some bready malt with a touch of straw/hay and barnyeard funk. Finish is slightly dry with an aftertaste of dry gin and some ginger. An odd duck for a Blonde Ale.
