It’s also a tad funky with pine. The appearance is blond with lots of yeast particulates. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall a nice hot weather beer. thornecb (1810), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2007 Pours bright gold into a tulip. Fluffy white conglomerate head leaves slight sheet lacing as it recedes. Juniper aromas. Tastes like it smells with strong gin flavors from front-to-back. Slight bitterness to the finish, but mostly tastes like gin to me. oh6gdx (9102), Vasa, Finland

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 24, 2007 Very floral, lemon soda like aroma. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Very floral, some sugar, lemon like flavor. Clean and refreshing, surprisingly. Somewhat dry finish, there is a small hint of gin in the finish. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2007 Interesting brew. It’s got a lively pale yellow body with a respectable fizzy head. It smells like honey sweet malt blended with gin. Very spritzy mouthfeel here. Up front it tastes like a pale Belgian blond, but midway the juniper takes hold and it finishes like a gin and tonic. Actually refreshing and repeatable.
