blipp (578), Grand Island, New York, USA May 9, 2008 Draft at Tap and Mallet. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly sweet, almost tart, with notes of lemon and pine. Light body. Flavor is like a wet-nap, lemon, pine, perfume. Awful. That’s supposed to be juniper berry? I don’t think so.
Tripplebrew (238), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Jun 29, 2008 Pours a clear golden/lemon yellow with thick white head that dissipates to a thin layer. Aroma is a lemon perfume. Flavor is same perfume flavor with yeast and lemon. A very strange flavor is coming across... very artificial. Body is medium, as is carbonation.Just not at all impressed with this beer. funky. kiefdog (310), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 22, 2008 75cl bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Rated on 2/18/08. Pours a dark yellow with thick white head that settles slowly. Yeast clearly visible in the glass. Aroma is gin, herbs, juniper. Flavor begins as a rubbing alcohol flavor that transitions to a gin taste that dissipates quickly. Interesting beer that taste more like spirits than a beer. Light-bodied with a slightly lingering, juniper finish. marchcow (467), Coralville, Iowa, USA Jun 11, 2008 Very light blonde color with a white fizzy head. Fruity citrus aromas. Lemon malt flavors. Lightly bitter duration. Good carbonation. rader58 (22), Leawood, Kansas, USA Jun 6, 2008 Pours with a white head. Has a cloudy yellow color. Flavor is very tart and fruity, similar to the candy ’sweetarts’. Also has hints of pine. (Had to order from Belgium)
