Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Sep 1, 2009 On tap at the Ragtime brewpub. Pours darkness with brown edges and tan head. The aroma is burnt malts, a touch of molasses and a sense of biscuit. The taste is roasty, burnt malts, a bit of chocolate, smoke and black strap molasses. A light note of malt sweetness wells up to join the other notes as it slides into the finish. Cool and interesting brew. The touch of smokiness was a tasty surprise. sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 16, 2009 Tap @ brewpub.

Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Sep 29, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Coffee and a smoky peatlike scent, some light fruitiness. Roasty malt and coffee with a hint of peat smoke. The best offering they had, IMO. Retorp (2154), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 16, 2007 High concentration coffee, light smoked malt, chooclate and dark fruits. The body is full on black and holds a diminishing tan head. Thinnish fore with ample roast/dark fruit flavors and dark chocolate notes. Quite tasty and comes off much bigger than the 4.5% it is listed at.
