Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Sep 1, 2009 On tap at the Ragtime brewpub. Pours deep copper to brown with white head. The aroma has notes of crystal malts, roasted malts and a faint caramel sensation. The taste is modestly roasty with maybe crystal malts mixing with a dash of highly roasted maltiness. By midway a thin layer of vague hoppiness helps take this to the finish. sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 16, 2009 Tap @ brewpub.
pours clear copper, thin white head.
Aroma, light malt, some spices and pine hops.
Flavor, fruity, light malts, some roasted and caramel elements.
Bitter spicy hops with a thin watery finish. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Feb 13, 2009 Amber colour, no head. Caramel nose. Light, soft beer with a vague caramel accent. Standard stuff. Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Feb 13, 2009 Clear copper. Not pulling much aroma except caramel. High carbonation. Nice flavors include decent level of caramel malt. Clean finish that is a little too sweet and too carbonated but at 4% makes a good, sessionable choice. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Feb 12, 2009 on tap-pours a white ring for a head and copper color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-caramel. Taste is some sweet medium malt-caramel, some peat, earthy/copper hops.
morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Jul 1, 2008 Sampled at the 2008 Folio Weekly Beer Festival in Jacksonville, FL. Draft. Pours a dark amber color with a light tan head. Aroma is a bit of malt and a touch of grass. Flavor is similar, it doesn’t follow the usual rules of an amber. Decent to drink, nonetheless. jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Mar 6, 2008 From the tap poured amber with a fair amount of head. Nice flavor with a solid finish. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Sep 29, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Dark amber with a tan head. Solid malt nose with a lightly nutty herbal hop note. Flavors follows the nose, and adds a bit of biscuit. Does not seem to really be an amber, but a pretty good brew whatever you call it.
