Sep 1, 2009 On tap at the Ragtime brewpub. Pours gold with lasting bright white head. The aroma is banana, grains and cloves. The taste has the classic clove and banana and a sense of grain flavor found in some wheat brews. It turns watery toward midway leaving fading banana and clove notes whimpering into the aftertaste.

pours golden hazy, white head.
Aroma of clove, banana with some faint yeast.
Flavor, spices; cloves medium carbonation with some wheat elements and yeast. Once again, the body is just too thin and watery.
Refreshing but overall weak.

Aug 3, 2008 Draft at Ragtime. Poured hazy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet citrus & wheat aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Balanced soft beer.

Jun 16, 2007 Burnt hair, sulphur and the foulness of infection in the aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with a lazy white head. Light banana, yeast is followed by burnt plastic and more sulphur. Awful. Mouthfeel is thinnish, but close to where it should be.

Jul 10, 2005 Daft; Yellow in color, average white head with good lacing, but a clear body. Where’s the haze, this is a wheat isn’t it? Smells of citrus. Bitter in the mouth with citrus flavors. Slightly oily and high in carbonation.

Aug 24, 2003 One of the last beers sampled at the Southern Brewer's Festival with choices running low. Yellow appearance. Strange banana salt water taffy flavor. Fairly thin mouthfeel but a little slimy. Strange experience but not in a good way. Another American Wheat disaster. I'll learn to leave this style alone one of these days. Average at best.
