Got this in a steak house in a big ol’ chalice. I was told it was a pale ale, at first. Yeah, it was alright. Sweet, nothing special, but pretty strong. Best texas beer I’ve had so far, but my steak was better.

Jul 13, 2008 The color was light golden/bronze. The head was thin, fizzy, and white. The aroma was glue. The flavor was glue, sweet, and hay. The palate was average. The finish was abrupt.

Jul 13, 2008 Thanks maltomeal. Pours an orange yellow with more chill haze than I would like. The head is about a finger thick and frothy/white. The nose is weird, rotting grain, sweet, malty, an unwanted sourness. The flavor is crisp and mild, lightly sweet, malty, some grassy hops, and then that sourness. Not....a.....fan.

Jul 6, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange and with a slowly collapsing white head. Mild orange fruity and light cornish/malt aroma. Flavour is mild yeasty and with a light fruity touch to a more or less classic bock base. Ends sweet and light cornish.

Jul 4, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Nose is of malt. Taste is malt and spices. Mouthfeel is medium with lively carbonation.
