Coppery pour with an average beige head. Slightly lactic grassy aroma, orange juice and mild roastiness - a bit funky (goldings!!). Taste is oily-bitter, grainy, with citrus and a little dry herbal bitterness - light, mildly astringent, nicely carbonated ... simple, unmemorable: clean though. garthicus (1290), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Aroma: Grassy golding hops, not my favourite at all but none the less, malt and caramel. Flavour: Bitter with a nice amount of malt and spices and fruit. Not bad. Pours a slightly cloudy copper-amber color with a small beige head. The aroma is bready with malts and some dust. The flavor is caramel, malts, biscuit and mildly citric hops. The mouthfeel is light and crisp. The finish is short and dry with an odd aftertaste. Overall: A very nice little pale ale. Thanks Eric.c graham515 (428), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Pours reddish amber into the glass with a white head. Aroma is pure malt with a faint hint of hops. Caramel flavor with a bit of biscuit malt presence. Seems a bit out of character for the style, but isn’t all that bad. imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA
