Gold amber with lingering white head. Malt and grain aroma. Mild flavor of light amber malts and grains, straw, honey, minerals and slight spice. Relatively crisp and easy to drink but on the lighter side of flavor for a bock.

(Bottle, courtesy of Swalden_28) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of toasted grain, honey, and cereal. Flavor of toasted grain, cereal, and grassy hops.

Clear orange with no real head. Crappy sweet doughy water smell. Sweet off flavor that drives me crazy in pale lagers. Watery. Boring. Not special.

Golden in color with a decent head. Slight sweet malty sort of aroma in the beer. Taste has some sweetness but nothing that great. Hid the alcohol well, but I don’t know if that was good brewing or that it seemed like a weaker beer.

Pours a slightly hazy dusty gold color with a short lived white head. Smell is caramel and corn like malt. Pleasant. Taste is very sweet and corn like in flavor with not much else. Medium bodied and smooth with refreshing carbonation, but a bit watery in the finish. Not what I expected of the style, but very drinkable. Surprised that it was 7.5% and it’s not noticeable. 1st drinkable beer from this brewery I’ve had so far.

Pours a golden color with a thing white head. Aroma is a little hoppy and spicy, with with a little bit of fruit in there as well. The flavor is similarly spicy with additions of grass/earth and a slight tinge of alcohol. Hides the 7.5% well, though. I sure wish Rahr would switch to pop caps in stead of screww-offs. 12 oz. bottle.
