Glowing clear amber with a fleeting head. Decent pale bock/malt liquor style smell with alcohol and cereal grains. Smooth medium body. Mild pale bock flavors here are grainy yeasty bready and mildly sweet. Not bad, but not worth $10 a sixer in the local DFW area.3227

Had this at the Rahr Brewery. Poured a clear golded color with white head with good retention and some lacing, with nice malty aroma. Flavor was malty and with an alcohol spiciness with good use of hops.....good beer..... Rerate: Oook, I am REALLY liking this bock, it has grown on me. This beer has actually become a favorite of mine.

Bottle from Soonah Somewhat clear yellow poor with little or no head... Aromas of corn, creamy, slightly metallic and earth. Lively carbonated right off the bat but lightly sweet. Fad like tastes... Corn flavors.

Pour was ever so slightly hazy and somewhere between gold and copper. The head was nonexistent. The first aroma I noted was of a tomato plant. Overall it was a slightly spicy, herbal aroma. The flavor was mild spice, and sweet malt. Decent. Got better as it opened up actually. Nice crisp finish.

12oz bottle via trade with legion242 - Thanks! - Pours amber with a short white head. Aromas of lemon, grains, and some yeast. Flavor is grainy with a touch of lemon, and some yeast. Medium body with a fairly clean mouthfeel. Just pretty much average all around this one is..

Bottle. Smells of weak grass and out-of-date hops; more like a Pilsner than a bock. Flavor has a hint of honey and lemon, followed by a mellowed malt that doesn’t attempt to overpower. Pretty nice mouthfeel. Smells like crap, but this ain’t a bad beer. Very drinkable.

12 oz. Bottle. Pours a slightly murky pale with a white head and some lacing. Malt and some sulfur in the nose. Very clean malt flavor with just and hint of sweetness and crisp finish. Very drinkable and nicely made beer.

Bottle at the brewery
Hazy golden color. Some aroma of malt, with a light yeast fruitness. The flavor is not special, with enough malt and an ok hop, but at least the body structure is satisfying.
