I had them back to back and I still can’t decide. This beer leaves a fantastic taste in your mouth for literal minutes after each sip. Apparently I’m a Rahr fanboy now. Aroma is almost non-existent, but what little I could detect pointed in the direction of raisin and malt with a touch of sweetness.. Flavor is very approachable smoky peated malt with a smoky sugar finish. Mouthfeel is thick and gooey. A very enjoyable and approachable scotch ale. travita (1937), Frisco, Texas, USA
