travita (1861), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 16, 2009 Tap at the Gingerman in Ft. Worth. Clear look, orange off white but nice head. The smell is malts, cereal, toasty, and malts. The taste is caramel, malts, grains, and some sweetness. Sort of weak. TopherJackson (26), Houston, Texas, USA Oct 9, 2009 Had it straight from the bottle around campfire with no glass in sight...I realy enjoyed this beer. Caramel and spiced fruits. I did pick up a slight sour finish but i think it worked. Not the best Oktoberfest but a darn good one. Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 27, 2009 Updated: Oct 3, 2009On tap at the brewery and in a bottle. Tap is much better. Deep orange pour with a weak white head. Malts, caramel, and nuts. Not their greatest, but still pretty good. aenimopiate (142), The United States of Texas, Texas, USA Sep 9, 2009 I just read the review by BelgianBeerGal, and I cannot put it any better than she did. Strange sour taste that seems to linger throughout. I must say I’m a little disappointed in Rahr (the hometown team). BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Feb 25, 2009 Bottle from Fort Worth. Everything seemed normal for a fest bier: appearance, aroma and flavour except for an odd sour taste at the very beginning. Nice caramel notes but they do not quite balance out the sour. Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Feb 4, 2009 Tried this one on tap at the Flying Saucer. Pretty rose appearance. Subtle aroma and taste to match. daknole (2805), Plantation, Florida, USA Dec 25, 2008 Bottle from mar, thanks my friend. Amber pour, hardly an head. Has a rancid malt smell and an odd fruit smell. Flavor isnt much better to be honest. I wonder if the bottle I had might have been funky.
