Poured this one down the drain. Pours an amber color with a small white head that is gone almost instantly. Smells state and skunky. Tastes like old hops malt and water. I’m really proud to have a brewery here in my home town. I pretty much like ever beer these guys make. my favorite is their summer wheat.
This one isn’t bad either, it was obviously dark amber almost brown with a small head. it had a slight bitter taste, a dark/roasted-like flavor and was real smooth. Cereviseator (12), USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 6, 2007 Aroma didn’t knock my socks off...musty, yeasty, bready notes with some hops hiding in there. Nice deep, garnet color with an off-white head that quickly dissipated. Sweet, caramel/toffee notes with a slightly burnt finish. Body was a bit thin. A somewhat pedestrian amber ale...nothing I would actively seek out. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Aromas of light caramel and maybe a touch of grass. Flavor is about the same.. Caramel and light grass.. Maybe a touch of cardboard too. Palate is sweet and this just seems to lack depth.. Not too good.. fiulijn (7350), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Light amber color. It seems to be a reasonable beer (an Ale probably, smooth and with a delicate malt taste), but spoiled by a light medicine aftertaste. Earlier Rating: 1/11/2007 Total Score: 2.1 Draught at the brewery Hazy amber color. Aroma of simple Lager. The flavor is not much better, with just a touch of caramel.
