Light carb with decent body for a lager (?). Bread, green apple. Dries a little. Scubatrip (388), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 9, 2007 From the bottle, courtesy of secret santa, pours a clear red with little white head. Smells a little like cranberry juice, and a little bit of malts. Light on the palate with a distict taste of malts, maybe a little cherry, not too complex. Light and refreshing, not the best beer out there but I’d enjoy a few of these on a summer day. swanmann (309), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 12, 2006 smells like beer, clear light amber color w/thin cream colored head, lightly sweet, well-balanced hoppiness, just not very intense. palate-moderate carbonation w/ quick finish.
got it at the brewery, 4 free pints with the purchases of a $5 pint glass, every saturday 1-3pm. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 19, 2006 Body is amber, not much of a head. Aroma is oatmeal, grits, caramel, and that’s about it. Taste has a bit of a wheat character to it which is suprising, along with a light hop background, very light caramel, and a bit of honey. Not very good, pretty bland. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Aug 21, 2006 ugh. This one pours a very light clear amber color with a thin white head. Horribly boring aroma with the faintest hint of caramel. This beer is almost beyond flavorless. I have now finished my mixed six-pack of Texas beers and I’m glad to never drink them again. footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 30, 2006 Thanks go to Walt for this. Had it after a ling run and must say that it was refreshing.. Nothing really stands out
flavor wise but it had a mild caramel maltiness with a little grain flavor. bitbucket (2035), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 26, 2006 Bottled. Pours amber with a rapidly diminishing off-white head. A bit of flowery hops and bread in the nose. Body is watery, with soft carbonation. Tastes like crackers and a bit of nuts. The finish is ever so slightly bitter. On a really hot day like today I could drink this stuff by the gallon and not even notice I was doing it, but there are a ton of better choices out there. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 19, 2006 12 oz bottle: poured amber with a small, quickly dissipating beige head. Mild vinegarish aroma at first. That disappeared and turned into a lightly hopped aroma. Flavor is moderately hopped, mild malt. Very crisp. Not a lot of flavor. Mild bitter finish. Pretty lacking.
