bottle from soonah: pours a cloudy honey orange colour with a good sized white head. aroam is good full of wheat malt and good clove spice, nice bubblegum that i love and a hint of the banana that you would expect. flavour is a bright wheat malt that has a kick maybe from the rye, decent spice aand a citrusness in the finish i am not use to tasting in wheats. good wheat with a nice twist.

Bottled. Pours a cloudy gold/yellow colour with small white head. Aroma and flavour are dominated by citrus with some spice lingering in the back. Interesting that there was also a sour funk to it. Better than average.

Pours gold with a generous white head. Smells like wheat with some citrussy hints. Tastes of typical hefeweizen spice, but they taste forced and artificial,. Lysol on the finish.

Deep golden wheat ale that pours with a small head that diminishes rapidly. The beer is clean and leaves no foam on the glass. It is appreciably cloudy. It has strong aromas of clove, spice, and wheat malt. The flavor is full and refreshing with flavors of banana, dry wheat, and vanilla. The beer has a medium body and a little fizz that makes it refreshing sip after sip. This is pretty flavorful, enjoyable brew.

Poured a nice golden orange color that was slightly cloudy. A nice head popped up and there was streaky lacing. The aroma was mild funk, yeast and citrus. The flavor followed suit with the subtle funk giving what would probably be just another hefeweizen some real character. I laughed out loud at TomDecapolis’ rating, because I was standing in my kitchen drinking this wondering if the brewers meant to do this or not? A nice surprise.

murky gold pour with no head. malts, wheat and clove on the nose. actually very smooth on the palate with only 2 flavors that stand out the most. bananas and cloves. the cloves are more noticeable than the banana though.

Thanks to bu11zeye for the trade. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma of an interesting tart almost funky thing going on. Tropical fruits, banana, clove, floral notes, wheat and light spices. Almost seems like there are some brett characteristics in the nose. Probably not intentional and if it’s an unexpected infection it actually complimented the beer. Flavor of banana, clove, frosted flakes, tart wheat notes, yeast and yes even some of the funkiness that was present in the aroma. Interesting.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Hazy golden with a white head. Distinct aroma of banana and yeast. Light in body with acidic, wheaty accents and quite some yeast. Subdued bitterness. 080408
