bottle, from trade with maltomeal. Good aroma, yeasty bittersweet. Clove, banana, lemon, grassy. Tad hazed pale yellowy gold color, Good head and lace. Bitter flavor, like aroma though the lemon & grass flavor got stronger. Lite body, thin watery mouthfeel, clean spiced finish. I liked the aroma, kept me sniffing for a while, but flavor didn;t do much for me.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a huge, fluffy white head. Aroma is of lemony yeast and wheat. Flavor is very lemon with wheat. Mouthfeel is medium with tart sweetness and carbonation. Not a bad hefe.

Cloudy and golden beer. Nice smell of banana and clove. That continues nicely into the taste. Banana in the burp. The wheat qualties also contains a hint of citrus.

12 oz bottle. Pours bright yellow with a full, thin heaad. Nose of lemon, tartness, banana, clove. Tastes of yeast, wheat, bananas, pepper?,with a nice thick carbonated body. Very nice hefe-style beer and one of the best in the U.S. Great for the hot, humid Texas summers.

Bottle thanks to RollinHard: Cloudy golden bronze pour has a thin ring of spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet malted wheat with some banana, and lemon citrus, along with some barnyard and hay character. Body starts fairly full with a good sweetness and some citrusy balance toward a slightly more bitter grassy hay finish. Has an authentic German yeasty character throughout. Get rid of the strange barnyard character and this would be a great hefeweizen. Even still, it’s pretty drinkable and flavorful.
