Commercial Description:
We are proud to bring you fresh, hand-crafted beer made in small batches from the best malt and other natural ingredients for a fresh, honest taste. Our hometown, St. Thomas, Ontario is at the centre of Canada's industrial heartland. And with eight railroads and 100 trains a day earned the title "Railway City". St. Thomas still embodies a hardworking, optimistic, can do spirit, and we think you can taste this in our beer as well.

Draught. At BeerBistro - 2008 Golden Tap Awards. Bright light copper pour, average off-white head. Sot of odd herbal/butterscotch caramel aroma, very sweet. The taste followed - very sweet, somewhat light, with a slight grassiness in the quick finish. Sticky, light body, slick and somewhat still, no real aftertaste - again with this series, just okay, this one didn’t say "homebrew" to me at least (see the Amber) but a tad lower than the blonde.

[1623-20080823] Bottle. Weird dried flower powder aroma. Clear, amber red body with a quick foamy off-white head. Mild grainy floral malt flavour has a sweet fruity finish. Light-medium body. Drinkable, enjoyable finish.

2008-08-23. Copper dark amber body with a decent foamy beige head. (3+) Fruity aroma has a dusty malt note, has an odd note too it - floral? tangy? that is not unpleasant but a bit strange. Fruity character continues in the flavour and is the main profile, sweet malt with caramel touches in the supporting role. Smooth average plus palate. Quaffable but does not do much to distinguish itself in a crowd. Growler, Golden Tap Awards, Toronto

Plastic bottle, fresh at the brewery. A step up from the blond in colour and malt, but slightly less hop noticed. A malt job. A little crowning head. Appropriately carbonated. A touch of chocolate, but unremarkable.
