Commercial Description:
This golden ale decants a deep straw and pours a billowing and frothy bleached white cap. The aroma is that of refreshing zesty hops, mint leaves, fresh pear, a bit of citrus too. The flavour profile is a perfect match for summer on a patio. Sweet fruit (pears) pair up well with the acidic citrus (lemon) and the floral hops. A bit of anise follows towards the finish. Very nice head retention which speaks to the excellent quality of the ingredients used. Medium bodied, full flavours that embrace a desired summer quench."

On tap, KW beer fest. Another light beer from the fest! This one was the worst of the bunch unfortunately - Nickelbrook, Flying Monkey, and Stonehammer were all clean and well made, this one had a very funky metallic / fruity like aftertaste that was almost undrinkable. Otherwise, it was much the same - plain light yellow, mild grainy aroma, light body. Too bad about that finish.

On tap at the KW ribfest. Pours a nice bright gold. They ended up just left with this at the end of the night, so I guess it was the neglected child of the line-up. Smells like corny adjuncts and emptyness. Tastes like corn, hay, water, zinc, iron, and fizz (yeah for real). Complex for Brita filtered water! Weird because it’s so different from this brewery’s line-up. Seemed almost like a drinkable macro lager. Weird. I wish this had more to it. Okay at best.

on tap at the kitchener craft beer and rib fest. mutiple pours of this one at the fest. at first i wasnt a huge fan but it grew on me the more i had. pours very light yellow with a white head. aroma of grainy pale malt and some light fruitiness. i inhale the first one i had and it went down really easy. the second i let warm a little and some hopping came in right near the finish. well made with no off flavours and no signs of infection. this is a quencher meant to be drank a growler at a time. nice summer brew that is only held back by being a little to simple.

This golden ale decants a deep straw and pours a billowing and frothy bleached white cap. I see nice head retention here which speaks to the excellent quality of the ingredients used. The aroma is quite nice. Refreshing zesty hops, mint leaves, fresh pear, a bit of citrus too. The flavour profile is a perfect match for summer on a patio. Sweet fruit (pears) pair up well with the acidic citrus (lemon) and the floral hops (saaz). A bit of anise follows towards the finsih. An interesting take on a summer ale. The refreshing aspects of a lager (crisp, saaz freshness and bitterness), combined with the fruitiness of an ale. Medium bodied, full flavours that embrace a desired summer quench.
