Had at the source - The Rainbow. Wonderfully fresh, but one would expect that, given the brewery is right out the back of the pub! A delightfully subtle hops flavor and aroma and without excessive bitterness. Condition perfect. Good lacing in the glass. Slightly fruity; hops balanced by biscuity malt. Star bright. Dry, ’moreish’ finish. All in all, a session ale I would drink pint after pint - and have done!

Cask Conditioned at Coventry Beer Festival. Golden Amber beer, slight haze, slight head. Not particularly ready to sell, but a decent enough Boys Bitter. Mostly malty, again biscuity if a little fruity, not a great deal of hop impact, but generally enjoyable and would make a good easy session bitter.
