boFNjackson (536), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 25, 2008 Poured from bottle... Appearance is pale straw and a thin head. Aroma of corn chips. Tasted like seltzer water that’s had a foot soaking in it. Not much beer in this beer. It wasn’t as brutal as most macro lagers though. So it earns its one point.
apshah99 (92), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 21, 2008 Pale gold, thin white head. Sour aroma; better in a can than glass so you don’t have to smell it. Doesn’t taste like much, a little corn/grain with a bit of hops on the finish. Frothy body. Ok. spikester (435), Salem, Oregon, USA Aug 14, 2008 Pale gold with little head and no lacings. A somewhat better choice than most American macros. Has a bit of a Euro-hop flavor, crisp and refreshing. Not overly sweet, slightly bitter. Mow that lawn! mjg74 (1798), La Mesa, California, USA Aug 14, 2008 Can from Darby, MT. Medium golden in color. Sour grainy aroma. Grainy flavors with a hint of maltiness. italianjohn (86), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 11, 2008 Had this bottle in the Central Saloon Seattles oldest Saloon was awful very corny smelled awful the mountain is beautiful the beer yuck had one and moved on i guess it used to be a good beer but now they push it wayyyy back in their coolers at the bar ... i don’t blame them theisti (1084), Leawood, Kansas, USA Aug 6, 2008 12 oz bottle enjoyed with dinner at the Hungry Bear Cafe in Forks, Washington on the way home from Rialto Beach. Pour is clear pale golden with a one inch white head. Aroma of some sweet grain (corn, likely) a bit of malt, not much else. Taste is more of the sweet corn, better body and maltiness than a typical macro, but still very much that type of beer. The corn comes through in the after taste. Overall a decent Pale Lager, not much more or less.
