Nothing special at all about this very basic pale lager. Colour, head, and aroma are all forgettable, as is the taste. Indistinguishable from any other Indian beer I’ve tried.

(Bottle) Purchased at BCLS in Langford. Pours a a thin, white dissipating head with a golden body. Nose of a very corn-based malt and tin. Flavour is fairly strong but disagreeable, milky, corn syrup, wet wheat and tonic water. Poor.

Skunky aroma dissipates leaving metallic cabbage. Clear golden body is topped by a shy white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Grainy and very husky flavour with vegetal overtones. Light watery body with moderate carbonation. Undrinkable. Tumbler. Fridge temperature. Green Bottle (BB 11.11.06, BCLS at Commercial, Sep-06).

Corny-skunk aroma, becoming milder and sweeeet. No head/lace to speak of. This was what I would call a sweet tropical lager and was fine for what it was. A faint grassiness showed itself in the finish.

Deep gold, some malt in the aroma. Nicely balanced with some hop character, and a crisp finish. Surprisingly good-- better than most N. Am macros.

12 oz bottle. Golden beer with a fast-fading white head. Aroma is fairly malty. Pale malt with a bit of toast. No skunk in my bottle. Light apple fruitiness. Fairly sweet, vienna-like flavour. Well-balanced with a fairly clean, toasty, finish. Pretty tasty for what it is.

Pours a pale yellow with a thin skim of a head, somewhat sticky lace. Aroma is all skunk. The flavour is sweet, sticky and corny. Gross! Drainpour.

Clear pale gold colour with thick fast fading white head. Stale bread yeast nose. Mild malt taste with slight malt finish.
