| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2005 I have to say this surprised me. Poured unfiltered with a big snappy head like a Dort. Distinctive aroma of apricots, cinnamon, vanilla, and mango. Amarillo dry hops in a pale lager? I bet that’s what it is. Taste carries through, a hoppy, fruity, tang that pretty much overpowers the malt, although what malt there is is simple, clean, and sweet. This could have used a little more balance but it’s a *gasp* pale lager that I’d buy again. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
