Very dark red. Nearly looks like a stout. No head. Mulled red wine aroma with cinnamon, nutmeg and coffee. Thin in body. Musky spice flavor.

Dark brown with just a tan ring for a head. Aroma is good though with all sorts of spices. Taste is another story sadly. Zippy and dull with flavors of pumpkin and molasses. Thanks go out to Lou18 for the brew.

Thanks to Lou18 for this beer.

Poured dark brown with a fizzy off-white head which dissipated completely. Looks a little like Coca-Cola. Spicy aroma of cinnamon, molasses. Tastes of dark fruits, spices, with a dry finish. I thought of it as being similar to a thin doppelbock. All right I guess, but something about this beer just didn’t strike a strong chord with me.

I have had many of these, and I like them more and more. The aroma of cinnamon and spice with orange is apparent right from the pour. Dark body with a small off white head. The taste was complex, with all the spices and malts mix and twirler to form a different sensations with each sip. This was very good. Can’t wait till next year.

More thanks to lmgraz1, this poured the darkest "amber" I’ve ever seen, closer would be dark brown or claret colored, aroma is spicy, I got lots of cinnamon, very little head, just a thin layer that went away fast. Taste is a nice mix of malts and spices, the cinnamon that was in the aroma is just as prevalent in the taste. Excellent finish, very smooth, medium body. A very enjoyable brew.

On draft. Pours dark copper with some ruby. Aroma of malt, slight nuts and spice. Good Christmasy flavor with decent complexity and a smooth finish. I like RVB beers, and this one is no exception.

Small layer of a head. Dark bronw color, wooden burnt nose. Wooden, roasted hazelnut taste, which lasts long.
