Commercial Description:
This innovative brew is light, refreshing and surprisingly complex. Brewed with 30% wheat malt, the balance is made with pilsner and Munich malts. Dubbed by one beer writer a “Poughkeepsie Common Wheat Beer,” this brew is made with a lager yeast and fermented at warm temperatures to achieve a complexity that a lager yeast normally does not provide.

Grassy lemon nose - very light straw like malt. Some almost vinous character. Overly bitter orangely lemon - malt is there by somewhat sour. Very meh.

Pours yellow and cloudy with no noticable head. Calling this one a California common is generous as it makes BMC taste good by comparison. While I thought it was interesting, the malt character was unstable and watery.

I have been holding tis rating for quite a while, so, here it goes. Poured a clear pale gold, small white head. Taste was malty with slight hops to balance the sweet. This was refreshing and a very nice LIGHT brew.

Clear and golden with a thin white head. Sweet, grainy aroma. Malty, sweet, grainy flavor with a murky finish.

Dark gold with some chill haze. No head. Pleasent grain aroma. Nice smooth malty base flavor, with a surpriingly tart finish. Very light on the toungue. Nice brew! Thanks to Lou18 for the trade!
