rudolf (1734), Buffalo, New York, USA Sep 22, 2005 Grassy lemon nose - very light straw like malt. Some almost vinous character. Overly bitter orangely lemon - malt is there by somewhat sour. Very meh. Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Sep 4, 2005 Pours yellow and cloudy with no noticable head. Calling this one a California common is generous as it makes BMC taste good by comparison. While I thought it was interesting, the malt character was unstable and watery. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA Jul 3, 2005 I have been holding tis rating for quite a while, so, here it goes. Poured a clear pale gold, small white head. Taste was malty with slight hops to balance the sweet. This was refreshing and a very nice LIGHT brew. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA Jul 3, 2005 Clear and golden with a thin white head. Sweet, grainy aroma. Malty, sweet, grainy flavor with a murky finish. Suttree (2701), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Mar 6, 2005 Dark gold with some chill haze. No head. Pleasent grain aroma. Nice smooth malty base flavor, with a surpriingly tart finish. Very light on the toungue. Nice brew! Thanks to Lou18 for the trade! DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 8, 2004 Pale yellow, with minimal head. Slight aroma and taste of malt, hops, and a slight buttery sensation. A standard brewpub light beer.
