Tap at the brewery. Dark brown, tan head. Roasty aroma and flavor. Slight "guinness" twang. Very light and tasty, but nothing assertive. May go well on nitro, but I like it straight. Nice session ale.

bottled from a keg and sent my way compliments of Lou18 in NJ. this brew got to illinois from nj by way of california, thanks to fedex!?! dark brown in color with tan lacing around the edge. a mild chocolate and coffee aroma that is slightly sweet. flavors are the same mild choc/coffe with a slightly sticky finish on the lips. hops are not noticable yet there is a dry bitterness on the finish. a very enjoyable dry stout. Thanks Lou, its cool to be just the 3rd person to rate this one!

thanks to lou18 for a growler bottle of this, pours a deep brown, looks alot like coffee coming out, thin tan head and a sweet coffee aroma. flavor is very full with coffee giving way to chocolates on the tail end. the expected bitterness is there on the end, very smooth mouthfeel but a little light on the body. thanks lou for going to the trouble to hook this one up for me.

This beauty is Tap only, sorry. Poured a deep black/brown with a small creamy tan head. The aroma was light but held plenty of coffee and chocolate. The taste was easy on the palate. The mild carbonation make this an easy to drink stout, plenty of flavors and smooth finish.
