Dark ruby. Creamy tan head. Low carbonation. Fresh raspberry syrup right off the bat. Light chocolate undertow but this is too cold to penetrate. Medium body. Raspberry flavor is mild and unobtrusive, but is sprite in the aroma and overall balance. Finishes thicker with a roasted astringency and touch of dry, spicy alcohol. A decent fruit Porter, if there is such a thing.
