wheresthepath (246), Buckinghamshire, England Jul 10, 2008 [on draught at the Lyndhurst Ale House, Reading] 4.1% ABV when I tried this. Pours an amber-brown with a good, lasting creamy head. Intense floral hop aroma. Soft creamy mouthfeel, with spring flowers in the intial taste. Flavour mellows into a soft earthiness - feels like you’ve drunk an entire flowerbed from the top down! Quite unusual, but very enjoyable and easy to drink. Becomes a little bland in the aftertaste but otherwise a top-notch Spring/Summer beer. Ungstrup (11354), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 17, 2008 Cask at GBBF 2007. A dark golden beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet flowery and malty. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of flowers and hop juice, leading to a slightly bitter finish. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Dec 16, 2006 Cask (gravity dispense) at London Drinker Beer Festival, March 2006. Pale amber/gold colour. Some earthy hop and light, juicy fruit, backed up by a smidgen of biscuity malt. Clean mouthfeel. Solid, but doesn’t pack much punch.
