Mes_and_Sim (4360), Highgate, Greater London, England Oct 7, 2007 A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock. Standard bitter looks with a thin white rim. Light hoppy nose with some sweet fruit. Almost juicy. Really fruity flavour, more like a fruit beer actually. Lots of berries, almost strawberry. Strangley like a non-sour Oudbeitje. Very odd. Light nut-brown ale, small thin head. Slightly farmyardy smell. Slightly watery, but good bitter nutty taste, and reasonably malty. Very good for 3.6% TBone (4975), Pori, Finland Jun 11, 2007 Cask@Kitty’s Public House, Helsinki
Pale copper brown color, good creamy white head. Honey sweetish aroma. As expected: very light palate. Light sweetish citric notes and nice crispy lemony aftertaste. Leaves a soapy mouthfeel. Easy to drink, but a bit too light for my taste.
