| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 29, 2005 Thanks for the bottle, Duane. Poured a light gold with a small, white head. The aroma has hay, horse apples and some lemons. The taste is light bananas with a hint of clove. There is also a strange grassy finish. It is weirdly dry and makes me crave some sweet food. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2005 At the 2005 Garden State Brewfest. Decent example of a Hefe. A little light for a hefe, though it did not dissappoint me on that hot summers day. To me, there are only a handful of hefes that really stand far and beyond. This one is a solid beer, but nowhere near the top few. Rastacouere (5559), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 11, 2005 Moderate amount of sediments float around the murky golden body that see the little head it initially has disappearing after seconds. Off-putting very tart cookie smell, flour and wheat in abundance, a bakery yeasty smell. Short-flavored, very tart, but more in an apple matter and paired with an unpeasant and rough bitterness, reminiscent of chewing on wood as I imagine it. Atypical, very sharp but not cohesive nor very deep, certainly not too malty and sadly thin. Poor bottling job I fear. if not oxidized yet, the fill certainly could have been more generous. Too bad, I liked the High Point beers I’d had before. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 2, 2005 Pours a cloudy pale yellow gold hue, with suspended particles. Small lingering compact white head. Cereal, banana, lactic, faint clovey spice. Quite quaffable, light refreshing body. Cereal malts, faintly apple, finishing with a crisp citric notes, and faint herbal hops. Very nicely done. I wish these guys would come to Massachusetts! richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
