banana candy with a touch of clove the brew is yeasty and yogurty as such. unfiltered substantive yet still refreshing it is a better than average hefe. just a touch of sour in the citrus component that manages to work for me here.

Bottled. Poured slightly hazy medium golden with a tall, looser-bubbled cap of white head and a whole bunch of rising carbonation. The aroma was very estery with dusty banana notes and orange zest.. warm, paler base to it. The flavor was sour and spicy with similar esters.. picked up a touch of honey at the core that left a slight sweet impression on the finish.. the sour citrus zest was a bit too much at several points. Medium-bodied with high carbonation on the palate.. dried out on the finish.. OK, but nothing to bring me back for another.

Nice super hazy orange coloured body with a very thin white head. Nearly opaque - nice! Aroma of peaches, apricots, wheat, yeast, coriander seed and some canned corn too! Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie taste with a light citrus taste and a prominent coriander seed flavour. Aftertaste shows the canned corn and the sweetness from curacao. Overall, a nice wheat - a bit still, but a good one for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 26-December-2005.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Pale cloudy orange with lasting head and lace. Fruity banana clove aroma. Very sweet fruity banana peach melon with mildly bitter tart finish. Medium-light body and medium carbo. A little too fruity. Might not be fresh.

Hazed golden pour with white head and lace. Nice corriander and bannana aroma. Bready flavor with corriander as well. Spicy and fruity. Nice carbonation and mouthfeel. A very nice/solid beer.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Thaichile. Pour is hazed and cloudy golden yellow with a nice 2 inch white head. There is a ton of carbonation bubbles. Nice looking beer. Aroma of fresh cut wheat, cloves, slight sourness, apple fruitiness and some floral earthiness underneath all of that. Fresh and inviting nose. Taste is the wheat, tart citric sourness (just enough) and a nice apple fruit sweetness. Some clove spiciness to the finish, which lingers. As with the nose, this tasted very fresh. Nice thirst quenching palate with cleansing carbonation. Superb, my kind of hefe. Thanks Mark.

Courtesy of Gillard. Pours murky straw to copper with almost no head. The aroma is lemon, spice, grains and wheat. The taste is tart with some acidity from citrus like lemon followed by wheat, mild banana and some spice notes as noticed in the nose. Pretty nice and the flavor seems to be on the bold side for the style.
