Golden with absolutely no head, struggled to get film on top with a vigourous pour. Aroma has faint banana and clove with a strange sweetness to it, corn? Flavor much the same, faint banana up front with a decent clove kick and some residuel sweetness. Tad thin on the palate. pbjclimber (150), Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA

The taste is of wheat, slight banana flavor, a large orange flavor, cloves, and a faint taste of vanilla. This is a very good hefe. CaptainCougar (5488), Rockville, Maryland, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2006 Beautiful, cloudy and dirty glowing gold in color with a perfect creamy white cap over it all. Aroma is a beautiful exhibition - vanilla, cloves, sugar sprinkled bananas, some lemonhead candy casings, spicy pepper and chewy honey. Creamy flavor facade leads into a light fairing yeasty quality. Semi-sugary with cloves and pepper lighting up the body. Mild mannered quaffs bring on a subtly spiced lemon cream and banana pudding flavor. Light-bodied and a great refresher, and as balanced as one could hope for. Finish is a touch thin, but a tiny titillation of cloves, pepper and vanilla cover it up in the end. Big thanks to tpkenned for the bottle! YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany
