Aroma is chocolate malt, slightly burnt malt on top of caramel malt. Flavor is sweet at first, but with some tasty burnt / smoked malt also. Didn’t notice the alcohol. Dark brown with beige head, still highly carbonated, especially for a handbottle. Aroma has huge chocolate, faint nuttiness, faint smoke and even some coffee? Flavor much the same, huge chocolate, toffee, and roasted nuts. No alcohol whatsoever. Very well done. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

This one really needs to be fully warm, otherwise the flavors are too subtle. All the typical clove and banana elements with charred wood in the aroma. Earthy, fruity and molasses in the flavors. Good. Hand bottled by dickinsonbeer.
