Poured darker than I expected, a murky dark amber color with a small tan head. Aroma of mild malts, fresh bread and some spices. The nose is malty, sweet, earthy, bready, light hop aroma. The flavor is really malty, crisp, light waxy bite, bready sweet malt, earthy. Lemon wheat with light pear-apple malts. Smooth, medium light, a bit of carb, sorta sticky. Faint sour lager develops a nice sweetness reminiscent of carrot juice. Bready drying with slight metallic.
