Nov 23, 2003 Crystal clear, deep golden lager. Large, creamy, off-white head. Good lacing; great retention.
Malty aroma with notes of straw, butterscotch and milk chocolate.
The flavor is decently bittered and well-balanced. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Short, clean finish.

Aug 17, 2009 Draft at Craft. Pours coppery with off-khaki head. Nose is caramel malt, slight brown sugar, fruit, earthy notes. Tastes very caramel malty, with some fruit, earthy, nutty, and hoppy notes throughout.

Sep 22, 2009 Tap at Studio Square’s Craft Beer Week Fest 2009: Hazy deep copper with a light tan film. Some soft fruity amber malt notes in the aroma with a touch of fruity U.S. hops. Creamy soft body- some vegetal in the flavor with a fruity malt character and perhaps a touch of diacetyl- yet it’s overlook-able. One dimensional and doesn’t feel German.
