Commercial Description:
Recreation of an authentic German Oktoberfest beer from the early 1900s. This amber lager has a rich malty aroma, a smooth toasty palate, and subtle noble hop finish. The richness and spiciness of this beer make it the perfect accompaniment to robust meats and grilled fare. Oktoberfest is a great beer for any festive occasion.

Awesome Munich Amber. Nice sweet malty flavor. If this is how Munich beer tasted at the turn of the century fire up the time machine.

Lighter version of O'fest. Dark golden color. Nutty malty flavor. A little hop in the background. Very nice lager characteristics. Easily quaffable.

Copper. Frothy tan head. Light carbonation. Healthy German aroma, mainly malty. Very rich tasting with lots of dry toasted caramel and hints of nut skins. Lightly hoppy. Kind of an Oktoberfest light. Soon to be bottled.

Smells clean, apples, caramel, mild hops, nuts. Nice small creamy head, toasty smelling. Good sweet slightly cloudy proteins, yummy biscuits, more caramel and pecans. Dry finish, not at bitter, very balanced. Fun!

Thin head which lasts for a while. Decent lacing and good carbonation. Thin malty aroma with a hint of fruit and a bit of hops. Dark, golden amber in color. Thick, malty biscuit flavor that is softin the mouth. Finish is smooth, dry and a little bitter. A good vienna.

Dark copper color with a little bit of an off white head. Malty and complex, with a nice blend of hops coming through in the aftertaste. Very drinkable and tasty. Well made example of the style. (Added note on 3/13/09: Newer batches of this beer seem to have some wheat thrown into the grain bill, possibly to make it stand out from High Point’s previously similar Oktoberfest?)

GBof A PA-on tap-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is malt-some sweet. Taste is malt-some sweet, secondary hops. OK carbonation.
