ruffian (149), montvale, New Jersey, USA Aug 4, 2004 White head. A little more color than other pilsners. Clean crisp. Balance leans a little more to the Malt. Hop bitterness accentuates without ruling over the malt. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA Jul 12, 2004 Nice fluffy head with small bubbles. Good clarity, earthy, spicy hop aroma well balanced by mild malts. Taste is crisp, slight breadiness underscored by the hops. Hoppy tasting but not too bitter. Flawed with a slight DMS aftertaste, but very nice nonetheless. mkobes (2103), paramus, New Jersey, USA Jul 11, 2004 Clear light golden in color with a nice head. Clean aroma with hops and malt. Crisp and clean flavor. Very good. Drinkable. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA Jul 11, 2004 Growler filled at the brewery. Clear light golden color with a perfect rocky white head. I may be a bit biased, but this has a perfect clean aroma with a touch of hops and malt. Flavor is clean crisp and smooth, with the Saaz hops having a big flavor component. Bitterness is well blended with a nice round malt profile. No off components to speak of. Well made and a seaker for Pils fans in the area.
