HoppityHop (103), USA Sep 18, 2008 Nice yellow coloring, with spot on carbonation and bitterness. Not much aroma and slightly thinner tasting than the usual Ramstein offering, it’s still a tasty beer. Glad to see High Point making a Pils again. hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Sep 2, 2008 rating based upon a sixtel, as well as a half growler. Clear light golden in color with a nice, well retaining head. The nose is full of noble hops, as well as some light pils malt sweetness. Taste is very clean, and assertively hoppy with earthy noble hops, moderately malty with alot of fresh pils malt, the mid palate has a nice, lightly creamy sweetness which leads into the finish, which is moderately bitter, and dries the beer out very nicely. Carbonation is nice and active, perfect for the style.
