Cask conditioned at The Cornerstone Cafe, St Peters Port, Guernsey. Dark brown with white head. Thinnish dry fruity mild a touch watery on the tongue. A light malty finish, quite ovaltine in character. Not bad really.

Maidstone Beer Fest. 2005. A warm, flavoursome roasty mild. Very pleasant. Good balance of flavours. Lingers well in the mouth.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Peterborough BF. A dark brown murky looking beer with an aroma showing a little chocolate but it’s all a bit faint. The taste shows some caramel and chocolate but again in no great measures. Disappointing but I’m still the King of Guernsey!!

Hand pumped at the Wellington, Birmingham. Ruby/amber hued dark brown. Nice, smooth and creamy beige head. Good lacing, but a slightly sulphur aroma. Sweet, milky consistency, smooth, with a little watery choc in the finish. Metal feeling at times, especially in the aftertaste, and I have a sense that this may have been due to the serving of it, rather than inherent to the beer. Goodish Mild (it is very mild). Refreshing and smooth.
