Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A slightly unclear dark orange-golden beer with a small, off-white head. Belgo-sweetish nose with dried fruits and caramel. Not as complex as the best Belgians, but quite nice. Sweet on the palate too, with dried fruits, some herbal notes, fresh fruits and some star anise and orange peel. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. A quite nice beer, but still lacking a bit. 6.5 would maybe be a more correct score on aroma and flavor, but that’s not an option, and it’s not worthy a 7.
