Pours very dark brown - almost black. Good, creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted, some liqourice tartness and wonderful chocolate. Fine, light and quite creamy mouthfeel. Lovely chocolate flavour, nuttiness and roasted malts. Low sweetness. Really quite drinkable.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, cofffe notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tar flavor with fruity notes. austone (629), Turku; Pori, Finland Oct 20, 2008 Draught at EBF. Almost black, firm brown head. Dry chocolatey aroma, roasted malts. Burned malty flavor with cocoa and little hops. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation. Quite nice chocolatey schwarz. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 13, 2008 (On tap) Black and almost opaque with a vague tint of red and a dense, creamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Light-bodied with hard roasted malt, lightly sweet vanilla and a pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Subdued bitterness. 120908
