On draught at the brewpub in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates to a white ring with some spotty lacing. Aroma of toasted dark malt, some caramel, white pepper and a hint of chocolate. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of toasted dark malt, some light chocolate, toffee and some flowery hops. Finish has a nice balance of malt and bitterness that even has a light chocolate and banana aftertaste.
