esjaygee (733), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jun 15, 2008 On tap at the Randy’s Fun Hunters Brew Pub. Murky brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of fruit, alcohol, caramel and nuts. Taste is somewhat nutty with fruit, caramel, brown sugar and alcohol as well. Perhaps a bit too sweet, could use some balancing. The best of the beers I had on the sampler. Skyview (2850), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA May 19, 2008 Served on draught at the Wisconsin Micro-brewers Beerfest in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy caramel amber brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin creamy head that follows the beer with nice lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, some raisin, toffee, brown sugar and some flowery hops. Taste is smooth and creamy with flavors of sweetened caramel malts, candi sugar, some fruity apple and plenty of alcohol warmth. Finish is semi-sweet with a fresh caramel apple aftertaste that slowly disappears after the finish.
